As a Kansas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Patriots of Praise brings active-duty soldiers, veterans, and Gold Star families together through faith, fellowship, and the outdoors. Our guided hunting and fishing experiences offer a chance to step away from everyday pressures, build lasting connections, and find encouragement in a welcoming, Christ-centered environment.
Military life brings unique pressures, constant change, and sacrifices that can impact individuals, marriages, and families. Our programs acknowledge these challenges while honoring the heroes who have given so much in service to our country. We create opportunities for service members from diverse backgrounds to step away from daily pressures, spend time in the outdoors, and reconnect with themselves and others. Through fishing, hunting, and outdoor experiences led by experienced guides and experts, we provide a welcoming space to build connections, decompress, and enjoy time away from the demands of military life.
A Patriots of Praise experience is more than simply getting outside. It is an opportunity to pause, breathe, decompress, and enjoy a meaningful break from everyday life. Participants can experience gratitude, respect, and Christian love from fellow Americans and patriotic communities nationwide. Through shared outdoor experiences, we create space for relationships to grow, meaningful connections to develop, and participants to find encouragement along the way.
We have wholeheartedly embraced our hunting and fishing heritage while expanding our programs to include marriage retreats. These retreats offer couples another opportunity to reconnect, strengthen their marriages, and find encouragement through faith, fellowship, and shared experiences.
At Patriots of Praise, faith is at the heart of everything we do. All our programs are Christ-centered, and we strive to treat others as we want to be treated, following the principles taught in Scripture. As we represent a grateful nation, we encourage relationships built on mutual trust, compassion, and faith in God. Our purpose goes beyond creating memorable outdoor experiences. We want to cultivate relationships that can make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
We cherish the lives that have been changed through Patriots of Praise and the impact those changed lives can have on others. We have witnessed the healing that can come to soldiers through Christ and through faith, and we are honored to be part of that journey. Many of the warriors we serve carry physical, emotional, and spiritual scars as a result of their brave service. We believe every relationship matters, every shared experience can plant a seed of hope, and faith can provide a path toward healing.
